Chef Addam has a springtime feast planned for April 2, featuring lamb raised by Arlington’s Ninety Farms just for Tavolàta. There are eight lovely lamb dishes on the docket, capped off with a perfectly seasonal rhubarb dessert. In honor of March being Women’s History Month, Staple & Fancy is looking forward to toasting to women in food, drink, and leadership with a special dinner on Sunday, March 26. The evening, hosted in tandem by the restaurant and the women of Sip Northwest magazine, will feature Staple & Fancy’s own chefs Deb Taylor and Nicole Matson, plus Nancy Bishop from Alpenfire Cider, Leah Jorgensen from Leah Jorgensen Cellars, and Anna Schafer Cohen from àMaurice Cellars.
Marine Hardware is celebrating one year on Ballard Avenue with a special five course wine dinner on Wednesday, March 15th. The meal will be paired with wines from the three estates that fall under the Maso Poli umbrella and winery owner Romina Togn will be in attendance to talk about the Italian wines as the dinner progresses. There will be two seatings: one at 6pm and one at 8:30pm, and the dinner is $85/person, including wines.

As parents of young children and restaurant owners, Ethan and Angela naturally spend a lot of time in restaurants with their two young boys. But they also know that it can be tricky bringing little kids into bustling restaurants, so they decided to make it just a little bit easier: on the second Tuesday of every month, Rione XIII will be extra family friendly from 5PM to 7PM, with a menu supplemented with kid-approved classics.
Ethan is joining chef Joe Ritchie of Goldfinch Tavern and winemaker Charles Smith for a night celebrating the food and wine of Seattle. On Friday, January 27, the three Seattleites will put on a five-course meal at Smith’s gorgeous winery in Georgetown. Dinner will be served in the upstairs tasting room with expansive views of Boeing Field and Mount Rainier, and the meal will be paired with magnum, reserve, and library wines from Charles Smith.
