On Wednesday July 6, Staple & Fancy will welcome celebrated Basque chefs Alex Raij and Eder Montero for a dinner celebrating the launch of their beautiful cookbook—a “love letter in recipes”—The Basque Book.
Bramling Cross is celebrating Father’s Day with some specials at brunch. On Sunday, June 19, all dads’ dreams are coming true: half-off beers! Dads that drop in for brunch will be treated to half-price pours. There’s also a special dish planned: a Scotch Egg, prepared with house-made breakfast sausage!

The June Sunday Feast is all about the pork, from lardo to porchetta to a whole pig. Chef Addam has a porcine feast planned for the dinner on June 5.
Sunday Feasts are taking a break for the summer—this will be the last feast before they return in September.
Anchovies & Olives is hosting a wine dinner May 24th with the fine folks at Anam Cara Cellars. Anam Cara wines are handcrafted in Oregon from grapes grown in the Nicholas Estate Vineyard set in the Chehalem Mountains. Winemakers Nick & Sheila will be in attendance and chef Kyl has five courses planned with wine pairings. The words Anam Cara are Celtic for “friend of my soul” and represent the connection between the vineyard we planted and friends who share its wines.
Anna Schafer of àMaurice Cellars will join the gang at Red Cow for a special wine dinner on Wednesday, May 18th. Chef Will Richey has four course menu planned featuring an aged Prime New York Strip Steak as the main course. Wine pairings with each course is sure to make for a great time. The crew at How to Cook will be hosting a dinner on Thursday, May 12, at 6pm with winemaker Guiseppe Vajra. A reception with sparking wine and small bites will be followed by a family-style feast with four wines: two Nebbiolo and two Barolo. Handmade pastas will be served as well as hay-smoked duck breast with thyme polenta, radicchio, currants, and morel mushrooms.
