Our Annual Food & 5K Event for Fetal Health Foundation

Presented by Ethan Stowell Restaurants & Eastside Maternal Fetal Medicine

EAT. Join a handful of Seattle's best chefs in supporting Fetal Health. Enjoy a sampling of great local food from your favorite restaurants. Wine pairings and local microbrews will be available.

RUN. Join us for a festive 5K run/walk at Magnuson Park. Participants can enjoy this beautiful course at their own pace. A stroller division (for those with little ones) will be available. A free t-shirt, goodie bags, and family festival with face painting, kids games and much more.

HOPE. All proceeds benefit the Fetal Health Foundation, a 501(c)(3), national non-profit and the only one of its kind serving as a liaison between families whose babies are diagnosed with intrauterine fetal syndromes and the medical teams that provide their care. Since inception in 2006, Fetal Health has provided support and information through its online repository of fetal diagnostic information, as well as financially supporting more than 300 families through Travel Grants when immediate travel for lifesaving treatment has been necessary. Fetal Health focuses on providing parents with information to help them serve as the best advocates for their babies and their families. For more information, visit fetalhope.org.

Research Grant

We are also excited to announce that $25,000 of the funds raised this year will go to establishing the Nathanael & Gabriel Stowell Memorial Research Grant. Funded in part by the Fetal Health Foundation, the grant’s mission is to improve health outcomes for pregnancies and infants affected by fetal syndromes.

The Research Grant Application deadline to submit is July 31, 2014, with the award recipient announced in the fall. For more information or to submit an application, please contact Talitha McGuinness at talitha@fetalhealthfoundation.org or call 980-721-5799.
