Sennen was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. He graduated from the Graphic Design program at the University of Washington and almost immediately fled the country to bartend in London and begin work in the wine business. He was the wine director at Tango for several years before becoming the wine director at both Union & Tavolàta in 2007. He has worn many hats at ESR over the years and currently spends his time leading the marketing and design teams, overseeing the beverage programs, and making sure everyone is having fun and not taking themselves too seriously.

There's a tiny restaurant at the top of the village of Serralunga in Barolo. They are rife with champagne and the owner constantly posts pictures of rescue puppies on Facebook.
