How to Cook a Wolf pays homage to MFK Fisher and the philosophy of taking simple ingredients and transforming them into culinary splendor. The food is uncomplicated and rustic. It’s an ever-changing menu of Italian inspired small plates, crafty cocktails, and wine program from Italy and the Pacific Northwest.  We are now offering both dining room seating at full capacity (with a little extra space for comfort) and sheltered, shaded outdoor Wolf Dens.  We will continue to offer a robust to-go food and beverage program with meal packages, a la carte offerings, wine and cocktails!  We are accepting reservations for our sheltered outdoor dining shelters and indoor tables, and appreciate your love and support as our community continues to navigate the pandemic. We are truly stronger together, Seattle!

  • Our food menu is also avaliable to be delivered right to your door!   The entire delivery fee is retained by the restaurant to partially offset the costs paid to our delivery partner, DoorDash, that makes this service possible.

A Message to Our Guests:

Beginning October 25th and in accordance with King County Public Health order, all Seattle area Ethan Stowell Restaurants locations will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a recent negative test result for all indoor dining guests aged 12 and older. We thank you for your understanding and we thank you for your help in providing a safer environment for our teams, our guests, and our community. If you have any questions or concerns please email

“How to Cook A Wolf is a handsome wood-slatted den that evokes a Le Corbusier-designed wine barrel.”
